At The Well, we teach the importance of the Seven Feasts of The Lord that God instructed Israel to keep (Leviticus 23). We also teach that Jesus has fulfilled the 4 springtime feasts and that when He returns, He will fulfill the remaining 3 Fall Feasts.
At The Well we memorialize The Feasts, having a Messiah based Passover Seder in the spring, remembering that Jesus was a Pure and Spotless Lamb sacrificed for the sins of the world.
In the fall we celebrate the seventh feast, The Feast of Tabernacles – we typically build a small sukkah (booth) symbolically remembering what Israel had been instructed to do. As Christians this feast and the sukkah are representative of “rest” and that we as individuals are to be a resting place for God, a place where Jesus would come in and dine with us (Revelation 3:20).
